J&I Hub is the operating company behind a portfolio of independent direct-to-consumer brands on Shopify. The brands are ours. The operation that runs them is one.
We are not an agency and we do not run storefronts for other companies. Each brand in the portfolio belongs to us, which means every decision about its catalogue, its pricing and its customers is ours to make and ours to answer for.
Customer support, fulfilment, creative production, acquisition and reporting are built once and shared across the portfolio. A new brand inherits a working operation on its first day instead of assembling one.
Each brand keeps its own name, catalogue, storefront and relationship with its customers. Shoppers buy from a brand they chose, not from a holding company they have never heard of.
Brands are launched, measured and — when the numbers say so — retired. We would rather close a storefront than carry one out of attachment. The portfolio is meant to change shape; that is the point of running it as a portfolio.
